    The Stilling of Your Pain

To: My Dearly Beloved Sorely Vexed People    From: God Your Loving Father    Through: Jesus, My Only Son

Regarding: The Stilling of Your Pain

I hear the screams of all sorely vexed people. The pain that sorely vexed people are suffering from is greater than any pain killer your world offers. Are you suffering in the spiritual realm?  If you are, your sins or someone else’s are hurting you. The spiritual brutes that travel with sins, accusations, self-accusations, guilt, condemnations, self-condemnations, heartaches, unforgiveness, bitterness, shame, and pain stab your sorely vexed spirit every day. There is no earthly remedy for this kind of pain, but I am here to help you.

Are you suffering in the realm of your soul?  If you are, your afflicted mind, your afflicted will, and your afflicted emotions cry out for the kind of deep healing that no human being can give, but I am here to help you.

You may, perhaps, be suffering in the bodily realm, where some seemingly hopeless and endless pain, sickness, physical limitation, or affliction is a merciless taskmaster no doctor or medicine can touch.  If you are, I am here to help you. Of Me, Isaiah 53:5 says this: I was wounded for your transgressions, bruised for your iniquities: the chastisement of your peace was upon me; and by my stripes you are healed.

So, my sorely vexed dear one, do you believe that I was wounded for your transgressions?  That I was bruised for your iniquities?  That the chastisement of your peace was upon me?  That by my stripes you are healed?  If you do believe these things, if you do believe that you are not reading this blog by accident, you can come to Me now, now!  In John 6:37, I say this: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Through Me you can receive forgiveness, a new and eternal life & spirit, and the peace, the healing, and the deliverance that you need because I, Jesus, paid for these things with the blood I shed on a cross for you.

So come to me, all you who are sorely vexed!  As I said in the opening of this letter, I hear the cries of all sorely vexed people! I do know the pain that sorely vexed people are suffering. I do know it because I experienced every kind of pain, including the worst kind of pain, the spiritual pain I suffered when My Father had to turn His face away from me because I became your sins so that you could become my righteousness. (2nd Corinthians 5:21)  I do know the pains that sorely vexed people suffer from are greater than any earthly pain killer, but I am not an earthly pain killer. I am a “from above” pain killer, healer, deliverer, and life giver. In John 6:38-39 I tell you this: “For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of Him who sent me. And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up in the last day.”

Sorely vexed crying ones, I will not lose you now or ever, for I, Jesus, have said in John 10:29, “My Father, who has given them (meaning those who come to me) to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” I not only hear your cries, but I see your troubles and all those adversaries who are trying to snatch you away from Me. I see the troubles that each and every living person has endured, is enduring, and will endure, and the overwhelming enemies that you will face, but I want you to know that as great as that trouble is, or as great as those adversaries may be, I am greater. As Psalm 46 says, I am the ever-present help in time of trouble. That means I am here to help you right now!  When in Psalm 46:10, I said “Be still and know that I am God, I spoke these words as a command, but I knew that you would never be able to carry out this command to be still and know Me as God while you were sorely vexed, while you were writhing in pain, while you were being attacked by external or internal enemies.

I knew that this kind of stillness was not something any human being could create. I knew that you would need the help of God, your Creator and Father, through Me, Jesus, to create this stillness. Close your eyes and say this prayer right now: God, in the name of Jesus, please cause me to be still and know that you are God, so I won’t be sorely vexed, and I will cause stillness to come upon you. You can be sure that this stillness will come, will descend upon you, for in Jeremiah 1:12, I did say “I watch over my word to perform it,” and if you have said this prayer this word includes the stilling of your pain.

And now, in closing this letter to you, now that you can feel this stillness coming upon you to be your portion, should you wish to make our encounter a permanent relationship, you can say this simple prayer: Dear God, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that you raised Him to life, so I put my trust in Him as my Savior. Help me to follow Him as my Lord. In Jesus name I pray!  Amen.

    One Moment at a Time

The future is uncertain, and in a moment can become lethal, as was the case with Lazarus, a close friend of Jesus.  Lazarus died because Jesus did not return as soon as He was told that Lazarus was dying. Why didn’t Jesus come sooner?  Because He wanted to show Lazarus and all of us that He holds all power, and specifically in this case, the power of life and death.  Even though we may have to wait for a time as Lazarus did,  Jesus can restore everyone and everything that is lost to us in one moment in time. He does this in More Miracles which I hope will bless you in the fall, but I believe you are already blessed. If something or someone in your life is dead, you can start praying for restoration now. You don’t have to wait to read anyone’s book to get it. Love, Cris

Come Out From Behind the Rocks & Run Into His Arms

I saw Jesus in a dream. I was twelve years old. I was hiding behind some big boulders outside of a rock walled tomb. Suddenly He appeared in His brilliant white robe and stretched out his arms to call me. He knew I was hiding nearby.  I was hiding because I didn’t think I could come to Him the way that I was.  Are you hiding because you don’t think you can come to Him the way that you are?

Adam & Eve hid from God for the same reason. They didn’t think that they could come to Him the way that they were, but God took care of that by sending Jesus to pay for their sins, your sins, and the sins of the whole world. Along with this forgiveness for sins through Jesus, God’s desire is  to bring healing to all manner of sicknesses and diseases, and these sicknesses and diseases include all of the worst kinds of torments that occur in the spirit, the mind, the will, the emotions, and the body. God’s intention is to end every kind of torment. He wants to do this now by bringing divine intervention into your specific situation. He will bring this divine intervention  in the way that will help you the most, so don’t hide and suffer alone another moment.

One of the best things about Jesus is that you don’t have to hide from Him. He knows each and every thing that you are afraid of. He completely understands  each and every detail that you are too terrified or too ashamed to tell anyone else about far better than you do.  Get the divine hug you need today!  See what God will do when you say this prayer —Jesus, here I am, help me!  Then come out from behind the rocks near the tomb and run into His arms.

    Open The Door

There is a section in the Bible called Revelations. It is called Revelations because here God is revealing supernatural truths which can save our lives. Tonight I specifically want to share Revelations 3:20. Revelations 3:20 says this: Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. This implies that we must open the door of our hearts to let the Lord in. What will happen  if we open the door?

If we open the door, we will sit down with God and have supper at a wonderful table. This supper will occur  in the presence of our enemies. (Psalm 23) These enemies may be internal, something inside of us, or external, something attacking us from the outside, but all of our enemies will foam at the mouth while our needs are being supernaturally met. Do you need help that can only be supplied in a supernatural way?  You may not believe that God exists, or that Jesus is the Lord who has come to save you, but if you want to find out, invite Him into your life. You will quickly see that God really wants to help you. All you have to do is open the door.

The Coin in the Fish’s Mouth

Once Jesus and his friends needed some money to pay the taxes with. His friends did not know what to do to fill the need. They had no money, but Jesus knew exactly what to do. He told one of his friends to go down to the water and he would find a fish with a coin in its mouth to pay the bill.  Like you, there are many times when I do not know what to do or where to find the exact help I need.  To get this help, do what we all do when we want to enjoy a movie— suspend disbelief.  Then while you are still suspending disbelief, go some place private and ask Jesus to fill your exact need. Whether it’s the kind of money needed to pay taxes with or something impossible by human standards,  Jesus wants to help you and He can do whatever it takes.  If you are reading this today, please know it is not an accident or a coincidence. Give God a chance to provide the coin in the fish’s mouth.

    Peace! Be Still!

Do you need help right now?  You are not reading this by accident.  The Lord is good to all!  He is plenteous in mercy to all  those who call upon Him.  To all who call.  To all who call.  To all who call!  It doesn’t matter what kind of help you need,  whether or not you think you deserve it, or how far gone you think you are. It’s never too late for God to speak. When God speaks, He causes the words that come out of His mouth to happen. What an awesome experience to see and feel God speak to your storm. When you experience this complete calm you will know He has said Peace! Be Still!

A Father You Could Call Dad

Have you ever watched a movie called The Game? In this movie a young boy is sent into the wilderness to prove he is a man, but his Dad has already gone out into this exact same wilderness ahead of him, killed a deer, and left it in a place where his son will find this provision and live. In the game we call life, we all go into some kind of terrifying wilderness, and when we are there we think we will die, but God doesn’t play games.  Like the great Dad in this story, God has already gone out ahead of us into every lethal landscape to supply all of our most unique needs through His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Call on Him now. You have nothing to lose & everything to gain because He longs to answer you. God wants to rescue you. He wants  you to find out what a wonderful Father He is, even if you never had a father you could call Dad.

He Will Say Peace, Be Still, Take youThrough the Storm, & Put You Safely Down On The Other Side

There are many kinds of storms. A storm might be a physical tempest with towering waves drowning us. It might be gut wrenching bodily suffering that carries a terminal sentence.

Or the storm might be emotional. We might be sinking in grief caused by the loss of a loved one, or by some other loss. The storm might involve the human will!  In storms that involve the human will, we are terrified because we know that human willpower cannot overcome the deadly habits, addictions, phobias, thoughts, people, situations, or lies that want to destroy us.

The storm might be spiritual. We might not believe that God exists, though deep down inside we want Him to. We want God to be the almighty and wonderful Father who can do anything and would do anything to rescue us, but we don’t believe that He is, or that He is bigger than the giant trying to kill us. Worst of all, we don’t know God as a completely loving, completely faithful Father, so we don’t think He will show up. We want to believe that He will forgive us for everything, that He will help us forgive ourselves and others, and that He will help us let go of the painful past and make a new start, but we are suffering because we don’t believe this.

We need to know that in any internal or external storms, God will not forsake us or fail us. (Deuteronomy 31:6) No matter what kind of  storm you are in, put your physical or your mental finger on the map where the Sea of Galilee is. Think about the fishermen who were about to drown in a storm there. (Mark 4:37) Then ask God to come to rescue you the way He came to rescue those fishermen.

The words I have written here about storms will not convince you that God is going to do this; God Himself will for God has said in His word: Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13) So call on God. Simply say, Father God, Father of Jesus and all, please rescue me in this storm. He will say, “Peace be still,”  take you through the storm, and put you safely down on the other side.(Luke 8:27)

Believe That God Will Find You & Get You Out!

Are you in some kind of a hellish, painful place,  a place where despair beats you up every day, a place from which there seems to be no escape, and from which no rescuer can save you?  If you are, if you want someone to find you, &  get you out, what I am writing today is for you.  Let me tell you how I came to write this blog and why I say it’s for you.

While I was wondering what I should blog about, I saw a movie called The World Trade Center. In this movie directed by Oliver stone, Port Authority Police Officer, Will Jimeno, was miraculously pulled to safety from the twisted wreckage of the World Trade Center where he was buried for 13 hours.

In addition to being hurt and buried alive, Jimeno survived fireballs of burning jet fuel and exploding bullets from a dead policeman’s gun. Near him Sgt. John McLoughlin was also hurt and buried alive. While entombed in the concrete vault of debris that created his hell, Jimeno was fighting the urge to give up, & he was thirsty. In this moment of despair and thirst, Jimeno had a vision of Jesus holding what he thought was a water bottle for him.

Although Jimeno did not hear the voice of the Lord while he was in hell, (please watch this movie yourself & see if you agree), he recognized the form of the Lord  holding that water bottle &  lived to tell about it.  Two marines heard his cries for help and he and McLoughlin were pulled to safety.

Jimeno’s hell was unique, and so is yours, but the kind of hell you are in is not the issue. Hell is hell!  Your hell might be a spiritual hell. You might be riddled with agony, guilt, condemnation, and self-condemnation. Maybe you feel you let people down. You might be in a hell that is of the soul. This kind of hell  involves all levels of the mind, will, & emotions. It  includes hopeless addictions, burning rages,  uncontrollable, gut-wrenching circumstances, & the unrelenting grief of lost loved ones. You might be in the hell of unendurable bodily pain.

Again, hell is hell!  It exists in a way that is unique to every one who passes through it, &  it often  exists in the spiritual realm, the mental realm, the emotional realm, the will realm, and the bodily realm all at the same time, (I think Jimeno’s did), but the message I hope to send you via this blog is not how horrible hell is. You already know! The message is that like Jimeno, you can be liberated from hell even if you are so trapped that you cannot move to look for a way out yourself, even if you are an atheist, an agnostic, not a Christian like I am. The truth of God’s mercy cannot be changed: God loves all people and wants all people to escape from hell.

To escape from hell, do what you do to enjoy a movie that takes you to an unbelievable time, place, &  experience, a movie like Star Wars. When it comes to Star Wars, or any other far out movie, you must suspend previous disbelief or unbelief. Movies last for two hours, but you only need to suspend unbelief & pray for five minutes. For five minutes, believe that you are not reading this blog by accident. Believe that I am not the one speaking to you.

Believe that God speaking to you & that I am only one of his many scribes.  The personal healings, deliverances, & escapes that I have experienced by God’s grace, I  am now passing on to you. Believe and you will see that what I have written here is true. I wrote this blog, but God is the true author. He, not me, will give each and every one reading this a very personal answer and a way of escape if asked.  Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, is what He said, but He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, so He is speaking in the past tense, the present tense, and the future tense. Believe that God does not want you to be in hell. Believe that God will find you and get you out.

God, the present help, in times of trouble!

I remember a Christmas when I could barely walk. I was exhausted from work and traveling in & out of Boston to The Brigham & Women’s Hospital to visit my husband. It didn’t feel like Christmas. I didn’t have a tree, and I didn’t have the energy to get one, but I had a little girl who deserved to have one!  Out of nowhere, my sister, Carolyn, and my brother-in-law, Bob, came to the house, put up a tree, and decorated it for me. Now some would say it was a coincidence. Not me! My prayers had always been simple. Every night I would pray for God’s help and every day and night He sent some kind of help. After experiencing this continuing help, I told a friend in trouble that we serve a living God, and that we could go to him at any moment and get help. At any moment!  If you are reading this today, it is not an accident or coincidence.  Believe this and you will see what I am talking about. I only want to play forward the help that God has given to me.

If you need God’s help, go some place private and pray for it right now! Luke 4:40 paints a true picture of God, the God who will answer you no matter what you have done or haven’t done up to this point in your life. Just before this passage, Jesus had rebuked a fever and healed it. Following the healing of the fever you read these words: Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. I notice that Jesus didn’t ask any questions about anyone’s past life, whether or not the people who flocked to him at sunset had led good ones. Just the fact that they came at sunset is not accident. Sunset is always a prelude to the darkest moments in your life, but God is good to all; His tender mercy is over all His works. He is plenteous in mercy to all who call upon Him. Approach God now!  You will see that He is Good, and in Him there is no darkness nor shadow of turning!  Something will happen after you pray. Whether or not you have believed in God up to this point, or have believed in something or someone else, doesn’t factor in to your answer. After all is said and done, it will not be these words that  convince you. It will be what God does when you approach Him. He is the ever present help in all times, but especially in times of trouble!  God bless you! Love, Cris
